Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest fraternal organisations. Its members are ordinary men from every walk of life, of all religions and backgrounds, who share a concern for human values, moral standards and the rights of the individual.

It is not a religion, nor a substitute for one, and it is not a secret society — its principles, its charitable work and the names of its lodges are all public. What it asks of a man is simple: integrity, charity, and care for the people around him.

This lodge works under the United Grand Lodge of New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory, the governing body for Freemasonry across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

Through Masonicare, its charitable arm founded in 1990, lodges raise money for local causes and have it matched dollar for dollar, and the Grand Master's Disaster Relief Fund sends aid to communities hit by fire and flood.
